purbachal vacation house

this holiday retreat was designed for corporate client to escape the urban chaos. one can find them in a place where they explore by the choice of their own, an introverted fortress. a world of its own. design concept was to make a humble abode. multidimensional activity space where one can just forget the everyday rush and breathe in and it would become another home for a small amount of time. Water pools to sit beside, an intimate lawn to walk in, a roof scape to wander, all these around a architectural set up.

the retreat starts with a narrow entry leads to foyer. an enclosed open to sky shallow waterpool terminates the formal living. from the foyer an ascending floating stairway takes one to the above bedroom. one small hall adjacent to the formal living opens to a lawn at east. Master bedroom is open to south towards the lawn. a small study  with balcony attached to the master bed. one can easily reach the dining hall from the master bed. Dining hall is connected to the backyard which could be used for family parties or cooking.
