the twelfth volume in "Wege zur Architektur" /“Paths to Architecture”series of limited-edition publications contains a talk by the Indian-born architect anupama kundoo entitled “building knowledge, building community”.

the book was published in germany, 2017. and edited by FSB Franz Schneider Brakel. It includes an essay by Anupama Kundoo on building at affordable prices and a conversation with brigitte labs-ehlert.  

Anupama Kundoo explains in her essay how the building material ferrocement works especially well. I was approached by by brigitte labs-ehlert to translate the bengali portion of the publication. brigitte labs-ehlert is a german germanist , author , bookseller and artistic director .

The lecture series ‹Rede zur Architektur› (‹Lectures on Architecture›) was devised as part of the literature and music festival ‹Wege durch das Land› and was motivated by the desire to present contemporary positions of design and construction in architecturally outstanding buildings. Just like the literature festival is about creating an encounter between literature of the past and contemporary texts, because it takes time to shape the future. In the summer of 2016 Anupama Kundoo was the speaker of the lecture series, which is made possible thanks to the support of the company F SB Franz Schneider Brakel.
